A Regional Student Engagement Platform · Asia-Pacific
Autodesk Panorama brings together post-secondary and vocational students, educators, and aspiring designers across the region for hands-on design challenges in Manufacturing, Architecture, and Animation — powered by Autodesk software and guided by industry mentors.
Panorama is a student engagement platform sponsored by Autodesk Asia Pte Ltd. It gives aspiring students a unique opportunity to build their technology knowledge and skills under the guidance of academic experts and top professionals in their field, through intensive, hands-on programs in three core disciplines.
Selected finalists from local national student design competitions are invited to a regional Boot-Camp for mentorship, workshops, and a live Designathon.
The Autodesk Panorama Boot-Camp is an intensive learning journey for top students from across the region, focused on Autodesk Fusion 360 and cloud-based product development.
It was held at Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan, from 24–28 March 2017, and included a Designathon where student finalists completed project assignments within two hours on themes revealed only on the day of the event.
Participants could expect sharing sessions from distinguished mentors, in-depth dialogues on industry experience, knowledge exchange with like-minded peers, and a surprise on-site challenge.
Projects are designed using Autodesk software such as Inventor, Revit, 3ds Max, and Maya, and judged on overall design, creativity, innovation, and category-specific tool use.
